One Girl and Her Adventures was created when I took the plunge and ventured out in to the big camping world.
As
a kid I always went to Pontins for our family holiday. When I got older
I'd invite myself with my aunt and mum when my auntie went away in the
caravan and me and mum in the awning.
Other than that and one trip
with my nieces and a friend, I've never fully, whole heartily camped.
In fact even on that last trip, I didn't have any wants to do it again.
But
in 2017, my life has changed and I've come to the point where I don't
have much free time, not even for the most simple things I want to do,
never mind the big things.
I was in our front room/the storage
room one day when I spotted a tent, sleeping bags and about 4 air
beds... in a house where no one camps and they were brand new.
I decided to look in to camping.
My
concern, along with other peoples, was the fact I was a female, solo
camper and in this day and age I wanted security and safety. Although no
one is truley 100% safe no matter who or where but I wanted to reassure
my parents more than anything.
